Details Our usual DJ setup consists of either 2 15" JBL speakers rated at 1000W each or 2 12" CerwinVega speakers rated at 750W each and either 2 18" JBL Subwoofers rated at 1200W each or 2 15" CerwinVega subwoofers rated at 1000W each. Powered by either two American DJ V3000 plus power amplifiers or two Crown Xs700 power amplifiers this package delivers enormous sound that isn't harsh on your ears while providing plenty of chest thumping bass. Most of our music is now played via OTS software. This allows for the easy modification of playlists and the ability to play requests from the floor immediately. The audio is transferred from the computer system via an optical link to a recording studio quality external digital to analog converter. This electrically isolates the computer from the sound system thereby removing all unwanted noise that is produced by the mechanics of the computer. Our light show consists of several intelligent sound reactive fixtures from American DJ and Martin Lighting that change color and pattern to the beat of the music. This greatly adds to the event, transforming any dance floor into a night club. We also have additional speakers, amplifiers and other equipment available for backup and for larger events. For large events such as conferences where public address is required we use multiple powered speakers from dB Technologies connected to a wireless uplink.
